We are currently seeking a Web Developer to join our Autopilot team. This role focuses on building and owning the web platforms our engineering and operations teams rely on every day, turning complex system, vehicle, and data-collection information into clear, reliable, and easy-to-use tools.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Design, build, and maintain web applications end to end, including frontend interfaces, backend services, and APIs.
Develop responsive, intuitive interfaces for dashboards, tables, charts, maps, and real-time views.
Design and implement backend services and data models that are scalable, secure, and easy to maintain.
Integrate with internal systems, data pipelines, and third-party services.
Translate requirements from engineers, managers, and operators into well-scoped features and practical technical solutions.
Take responsibility for the full lifecycle of your work: planning, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
Make sound architecture and technology decisions and document them clearly.
Continuously improve the performance, reliability, and usability of existing tools.
REQUIREMENTS
BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience building and shipping web applications in production environments.
Solid experience across the stack: frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks), backend, databases, and API design.
Ability to work independently: to scope problems, make decisions, and deliver with minimal supervision.
Strong
software engineering fundamentals, including testing, debugging, version control, and system design.
Familiarity with deployment, CI/CD, and cloud or self-hosted infrastructure.
Self-motivation, curiosity, and comfort learning new tools quickly as needs change.
Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people from different technical backgrounds.
Preferred Skills
Experience with real-time data or dashboards.
Experience with mapping or geospatial interfaces.
Interest in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or data-intensive systems.
