Role Description The Welding Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Tân Uyên. This position oversees daily welding operations, including assigning tasks, monitoring work progress, and ensuring adherence to technical drawings and specifications. The role involves guiding and supporting welders, checking weld quality, and coordinating welding inspection and quality control activities.
The Welding
Supervisor is responsible for maintaining safety standards, managing welding equipment and consumables, and collaborating with production and quality teams to meet delivery timelines. The role also includes training team members, troubleshooting welding issues, and implementing continuous improvement in welding processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team coordination, workload planning, and performance oversight.
Candidates should possess practical Welding skills with experience in TIG Welding and other common industrial welding processes.
Candidates should possess Welding Inspection and Quality Control skills to verify weld integrity, compliance with standards, and product quality.
Candidates should have a strong skill in
using Solidworks to make the welding jigs/fixtures.
Relevant experience in metal fabrication (steel, stainless steel, aluminum) and industrial manufacturing environments is beneficial.
Knowledge of safety regulations, welding standards, and basic technical drawing interpretation is required.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are expected.
Previous experience in a supervisory or lead welder role and vocational or technical training in welding or mechanical engineering is an advantage.
