WWTS's Leader

* System Ownership & Operation Management
- Take full responsibility for daily operation and performance of the WWTS.
- Ensure all discharge parameters consistently meet regulatory and internal standards.
- Supervise and guide WWTS Operators in daily operations and shift activities.
- Ensure proper shift handover and operational discipline.
* Process Optimization
- Analyze operational data (chemical usage, energy consumption, influent/effluent quality) to establish baseline performance.
* Optimize:
- Chemical dosing (PAC, Polymer, etc.)
- Aeration and energy consumption (blower, pump)
- Biological system performance (MLSS, F/M, DO)
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement actions.
* Preventive Maintenance & System Reliability
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plan for WWTS equipment.
- Coordinate with Maintenance team for:
- Routine maintenance
- Troubleshooting and corrective actions
- Ensure proper calibration of instruments and monitoring systems.
* Incident Management & Troubleshooting
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for system upsets or non-compliance cases.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
* Data Management, Reporting & Compliance
- Establish and maintain:
+ Operational baseline data
+ KPI tracking (chemical/m3, kWh/m3, system efficiency)
* Prepare reports for:
* Internal management
- Authorities and environmental audits
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
* ESG & Sustainability Initiatives (NEW)
- Identify opportunities for:
+ Energy reduction
+ Sludge and waste optimization
- Support ESG reporting related to energy and environmental performance.
* Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Train and develop WWTS Operators.
- Improve team capability in system understanding and problem-solving.
- Promote proactive and ownership mindset within the team.
