* JOB SUMMARY
- The Academic Coordinator plays a pivotal role in educational institutions by providing support and coordination for academic programs and initiatives. This role involves collaborating with faculty, students, and administrative staff to ensure the smooth operation of academic activities and adherence to institutional standards.
* ACADEMIC COORDINATOR JOB DUTIES
* Curriculum development:
- Develop and implement academic programs, courses, and curriculum materials to enhance the educational offerings and curriculum standards, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and educational standards.
- Collect and analyze data related to academic programs and student performance, and recommend improvements based on findings.
- Ensure academic programs adhere to accreditation standards, institutional policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Work to align, translate and integrate international partner's program with the state's Vietnamese vocational college program.
- Research additional program that has high potential in growth and development to be taught at the college.
* Scheduling:
- Coordinate scheduling of classes, room assignments, and examination timetables, ensuring optimal use of facilities and adherence to faculty workload requirements.
* Faculty Support:
- Facilitate communication between faculty, students, and administration to address academic concerns and promote a supportive learning environment. Assist faculty with administrative tasks, such as course scheduling, textbook orders, and grade submissions, to ensure efficient academic operations.
- Organize professional development opportunities for faculty to enhance teaching effectiveness and stay current in their disciplines.
- Supervise the allocation and use of academic resources, including laboratory materials, textbooks, and technology, to support instructional needs.
* Student Support:
- Oversee the academic advising process, provide guidance and support to students regarding academic requirements, academic policies, course selection, and, facilitating their academic success, career planning.
* Data Management:
- Maintain accurate academic records, including student transcripts, grades, and program evaluations, while complying with data privacy regulations.
* Admissions Assistance:
- Collaborate with admissions teams to review and process student applications, transcripts, and academic credentials.
- Coordinate with admissions and registrar offices to streamline the enrollment and registration processes for students.
* Event Coordination:
- Organize academic events, such as seminars, workshops, and orientations, to enhance the academic experience for students and faculty.

Yêu cầu công việc
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Administration, or a related field; a master's degree is often preferred.
- English proficiency both in writing and speaking (IELTS 6.0+)
- Previous experience (at least 7 years and above) in academic administration or coordination is advantageous, especially in vocational education.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage complex academic operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
- Proficiency in academic software, data management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of educational policies, accreditation standards, and academic best practices.
- Ability to adapt to changing educational environments and implement innovative solutions.
