Role Description
We are looking for a Accountant to join our Accounting & Tax team.
The Junior Accountant will provide accounting and tax services primarily to Japanese-invested companies in Vietnam, working under the guidance of Senior Accountants and Team Leaders.
Key responsibilities include
Prepare and review accounting vouchers and supporting documents.
Perform monthly bookkeeping and record accounting transactions.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
Perform account reconciliations and review accounting records.
Prepare and support VAT, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), and Personal Income Tax (PIT) declarations and tax finalization.
Assist with payroll-related accounting and tax procedures.
Support the preparation of documents for statutory audits, tax inspections, tax refunds, and year-end closing.
Assist clients with accounting and tax matters under the supervision of senior team members.
Communicate and coordinate with Japanese-invested clients and internal team members.
Ensure compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), Vietnamese tax regulations, and AGS internal procedures.
Participate in internal training, knowledge sharing, and improvements to accounting and tax service processes.
Support other accounting, tax, and advisory assignments as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related field.
Approximately 1-3 years of experience in accounting, auditing, tax, or a related professional field is preferred.
Basic understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and Vietnamese tax regulations, including VAT, CIT, and PIT.
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Experience with accounting software such as MISA, FAST, ERP systems, or similar software is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in accounting and numerical work.
Responsible, honest, organized, and willing to learn.
Ability to work effectively as part of a professional team and meet deadlines.
Basic English communication and reading skills are preferred.
Japanese language ability is an advantage but is not required.
Strong interest in developing a long-term career in accounting, tax, auditing, or professional advisory services.

Salary
