ABOUT THE JOB:
The roles and responsibilities of the AP Accountant include but are not limited to:
Accounting duties:
Deal with day-to-day activities of below accounting works to ensure the assigned tasks to be completed in accurate and timely manner
Review and check payment dossiers in compliance with accounting/tax regulations and the company's internal procedures;
Communicate and work with relevant stakeholders to collect sufficient information for account payables recognition & payment process;
Do the booking of journal entries into accounting software;
Suggest the change in accounting processes and do the enhancement of accounting systems as assigned by Accounting Supervisors (Accounting Lead/ HOA/ CFO)
Perform accounting closing tasks as assigned by Accounting Supervisors in accurate and timely manner; e.g: perform monthly reconciliation for payables accounts/ operating expenses, perform allocation for prepaid expenses, ....
Take part in physical count of the company's assets and prepare physical count report as instructed by Accounting Supervisors
Prepare data and provide proper explanation for tax finalization & internal/ external audits as per Accounting Supervisors' assignment.
Prepare accounting reports as per instructions from Accounting Supervisors.
Actively identify accounting issues and propose the way forward to Accounting Supervisors.
Other accounting tasks as assigned by Accounting Supervisors
