Job Description

B. KEY OBJECTIVE:

Lead the redesign of existing actuarial processes in local operating companies globally to fully integrate a new centralized actuarial modeling platform and electronic data store. The focus will be on streamlining and automating valuation processes to meet new accounting and risked based capital reporting requirements.

C. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide technical and business leadership for the Chubb Life actuarial transformation project

· Lead the effort to fully implement a new centralized Prophet model to meet the ongoing needs of a global life insurance company including but not limited to GAAP/IFRS valuation reporting, solvency management, business planning, product development and new business/portfolio profitability management

· Lead the data quality enhancement work and build a robust and comprehensive data validation into the new DCS program

· Provide technical oversight for data enhancement and actuarial modeling services provided by offshore actuarial support teams

· Update and enhance existing reporting templates to streamline and simplify the result extraction process

· Provide and develop solutions to eliminate manual adjustments in current reporting frameworks

· Support local teams in the migration from the current process to the new process. Establish documentation and quantification standards to ensure a robust and comprehensive transformation process for local operating companies

D. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Ø Fellow of the Societies of Actuaries or equivalent

Ø At least 9 years of relevant experience

Ø Experience in actuarial process improvement works

Ø Solid actuarial modelling experience using Prophet and DCS

Ø Experience in project management, people management and coaching

Ø Fluent in speaking and written English

Ø A team player with good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and under pressure
