This new role presents a fantastic opportunity to join the Global Product Management team at Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group, which is part of Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc, a FTSE 100 company.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to be responsible for our world leading AFLEX range of high value PTFE Hoses. Based in our brand new facility in Bradley Park, Huddersfield, UK, we are looking for an individual with a balance of technical and commercial capabilities. You will provide business guidance to bridge between the market and the engineering team, driving growth through continued new product development.

In this role you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the growth and overall success of the AFLEX product range. From a clear understanding of your market and customer needs, you will sell your vision to the business through your product strategy. As the owner of product life cycle, you will follow these concepts through the product development process including establishing the requirements, negotiating the engineering response, managing the product launch, and ensure its fit to the market for the life of the product.

Qualifications and Experience:

BSc, BEng or equivalent.
Minimum of two years' experience in the Industrial process industries; experience in the pump industry would be beneficial.
Proven track record of global product management and technical experiences with a strong commercial alignment.
Ability to identify and convert new product opportunities within target market segments.
Ability to communicate and negotiate whilst building relationships with key stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Proven ability of managing with complex priorities in a dynamic growing organisation.

This position is expected to require global travel in the post COVID-19 world and so the successful candidate must have a driving license and current passport to be able to travel internationally. There is some flexibility of location as many colleagues are home office located at the moment, but it is expected that regular time will be needed at the factory, especially with the engineering team. The position comes with a highly competitive remuneration including pension, home office IT support and excellent career development prospects.
