AIR & Truck Team Leader

1. Responsibilities:
*) Air (mainly)
- Prepare spot price quotations for branch air export departments upon request
- Route and book air export traffic;
- Communicate daily with branch air export staff to resolve shipment discrepancies
- Prepare gateway consolidation files;
- Consolidate cargo to achieve the best net cost and benefit to the company (ULD building, Density and volume mix etc...);
- Rate airline MAWBs correctly taking advantage of special contracts;
- Initiate airline claim process for damaged and lost cargo as needed;
- Negotiate spot rates with airlines;
- Help research and resolve operational problems;
*) Truck
- Handle cross border truck, transit and long route trucking shipments
- Finding vendors and Negotiate with them for best quotations if having any inquiry from customers/ partners
- Receive and check the transportation request daily from clients;
- Assign and co-ordinate the trucks to subcontractors to meet clients' requirement;
- Proactively monitor the cargo delivery/picking up according to the process to ensure the cargo is delivered/picked up according to client's demand. Daily update the shipment information, cost.. in systems;
- Solved problems that occur during transportation;
- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing clients requests, questions and complaints;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and clients to develop the company business activities;
- Keep reported timely about inland transportation law changing to Manager.
