Detailed description of tasks and responsibilities:
Overseas & Network Development:
- Proactively engage with overseas branches and global agents to generate new business opportunities (Freehand & Nominated cargo).
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with international partners to drive mutual growth for both Import and Export lanes.
- Design customized logistics solutions based on specific trade lane strengths.
- Manage and provide timely responses to Request for Quotations (RFQs)/Tender and inquiries from the global network.
Direct Customer Development:
- Identify, target, and acquire high-potential Direct local customers/clients with significant airfreight requirements.
- Collaborate with the Product team to provide routing optimization and cost-effective solutions for customers/clients.
- Lead negotiations and close contracts.
Product & Pricing Strategy:
- Work closely with the Airfreight Product Manager to stay updated on market trends, carrier capacities, and airline pricing.
- Analyze competitor activities to adjust pricing strategies while maintaining healthy profit margins.
- Ensure service quality from vendors/airlines aligns with the value proposition offered to customers.
Report:
- Prepare regular reports on new
business development performance and overseas network productivity.
- Monitor KPIs including Tonnage, Revenue, and Gross Profit (GP) against set targets.

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics, specifically in Airfreight Pricing, Inside Sales, or Overseas Development.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory for communicating with global offices and partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
• Able to work independently, make quick and clear decisions.
• Hard working and willing to learn, able to work overtime if required.
