Alumni & Industry Development Officer

- VinUniversity is seeking an entrepreneurial, collaboration-focused professional to join our team as Alumni & Industry Development Officer, who will support the Head of Alumni & Industry Development in the design and delivery of Alumni & Industry Development function.
- The Officer will play a key role in the establishment of the Alumni & Industry Development office, including setting frameworks, processes, standards, systems, tools and other artifacts.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Industry Engagement activities:
- Supports the Department Head to develop and prepare VinUniversity's annual communication plan to corporates and other relevant stakeholders.
- Drafts engaging messaging for corporates and other relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinates key engagement materials and training resources for use by engagement team colleagues.
- Supports the Alumni & Industry Development team's work with other departments, to ensure that processes are in-line with the engagement materials and communications.
- Supports the Head in engaging other Vingroup's business units and major companies.
- Maintains Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Career Service Management (CSM) system and ensure the integrity of the data.
- Be responsible for ad-hoc projects as required by line-manager such as analysis of key data points within corporate responses to inform campaign outreach.
- Organize meetings and in charge of the reception of university guests to VinUni.
- Manage the budget of the Department.
2. Career Readiness activities:
- Provide career guidance to recent graduates and alumni.
- Educate students about job application process, resume and cover letter building, tests, interviews, assessment centers, job expectations and professionalism.
- Maintain regular contacts with companies for new job opportunities.
- Provide job placement assistance to students according to school policies, and federal and state regulations.
- Hold seminars on interview skills and job search strategies.
- Organize job fairs, career programs, and other student activities.
- Conduct research to analyze employment trends both locally and nationally.
- Develop strong relationships with potential employers to build job placement opportunities for students.
3. Other duties as assigned by management.
