Analyst, Finance & Accounts

1. Financial operational activities
 Validate credit approval form and approve through the system.
 Validate and recommend all vouchers.
 Monitor & ensure that the MAWB/HAWB/MBL/HBL are releasing on time.
 Ensure that revenue, AR, cost, and AP data are properly transmitted to FinOnline from SOL.
 Check actual inventory if any and compare between bookkeeping and actual inventory.
 Check tangible fixed assets, instruments and tools, depreciation of fixed assets and tools.
 Complete all the overhead entries in FinOnline and preserve the important documents.
 Review cost and revenue related transport documents and prepare cheques for operational payments.
2. Management reporting:
a. Fortnightly reporting:
 Submit fortnightly receivable ageing report to Corporate Finance & Country Head.
 Submit fortnightly payable ageing report to Corporate Finance & Country Head.
 Submit fortnightly forecasted cashflow statements to Corporate Finance & Country Head.
 Organize meetings among the Sales team, CRM team, Finance team and Country Head.
 Follow up fortnightly Carrier payment and report to management.
3. Communication with agents, customers, airlines, and shipping lines:
 Communicate with overseas agents, send SOAs and collect payment on time.
 Communicate with local shippers, send SOAs and collect payment on time.
 Follow up and ensure overseas payables are settled in a timely manner.
 Follow up and ensure timely payment to airlines and shipping lines.
4. Fund management:
 Prepare bank reconciliation and send it to Corporate Finance every month.
 Prepare fortnightly forecasting of fund requirement for operation.
 Escalate outstanding receivables to management for prompt actions/legal actions in accordance with the policy in place.
 Plan and make the best use of bank balance in terms of investment.
 Follow-up petty cash management.
 Liaise with bank to resolve issues, schedule meetings, and maintain a business relationship.
5. Compliance with internal policies and external regulations:
 Making monthly & quarterly tax reports, and financial statements and finalizing corporate income tax.
 Payment of regulatory duties and submission of returns on time.
 Follow and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
 Ensure compliance with local and statutory regulations/requirements.
