Applications Project Manager (IT)

JOB SUMMARY:
As an HIS & EMR Implementation Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful implementation of Health Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems in healthcare facilities. You will need experience in project management and knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations such as Viet Nam MoH SHI regulations, HIPAA, HL7...
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Leading the implementation of HIS & EMR systems in healthcare facilities
• Developing project plans and schedules, and monitoring project progress to ensure adherence to project plans.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to ensure project success.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Project Management:
• Oversee all aspects of HIS & EMR implementation projects
• Establish project goals, objectives, and timelines
• Develop and implement project management methodologies, tools, and templates
• Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to project plans
• Managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts
Stakeholder Management:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including clinical teams, IT teams, and project sponsors
• Engage external stakeholders including vendors, regulatory agencies, and other healthcare facilities
• Coordinate project activities and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Providing training and support to end-users of HIS & EMR systems
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of HIS & EMR systems and making recommendations for improvements
Changes & Risk Management:
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
• Develop risk management plans and strategies
• Monitor project risks and take appropriate actions to minimize their impact on project outcomes
• Developing and implementing change management plans to support the adoption of new HIS & EMR systems
