The Assistant Financial Controller will play a key role in supporting finance functions across multiple regions, focusing on essential financial management tasks, reporting, compliance, and cash flow. Description
* Lead the finance team to manage daily financial operations for Vietnam and other countries.
* Oversee group reporting, budget/forecast preparation, business analysis, and internal control development.
* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cost analysis).
* Ensure tax and legal compliance (VAT, corporation tax) and manage cash positions and weekly forecasts.
* Streamline accounting systems and work with auditors on risk control.
* Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
* Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by the Financial Controller.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and CPA (Vietnam/ACCA/CPA Australia).
* 5-8 years of experience in MNCs, with a strong understanding of agricultural market dynamics and financial instruments as a plus.
* In-depth knowledge of cross-border financial regulations, tax compliance, and risk management, with advanced expertise in financial controls across multiple entities.
* Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Advanced Excel, with knowledge of Hyperion and Dynamics 365 being advantageous.
