ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As an Assistant Development Engineer you will be responsible to assist to develop processes and products across new and existing product lines for our Embelex team. For this you will conduct process development in support of new and existing proprietary product concepts at the pilot and operational scale in the manufacturing plant environment. In this role you will collaborate across different teams in the organization such as the R&D team and you will investigate solutions to technical process problems and create business opportunities by exploring engineering approaches.
You will use your knowledge of engineering to support the development of variable printing capabilities and technology platforms. This role requires hands-on scale-up and manufacturing trials in conjunction with plant personnel.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Develop standard operational procedures for design and process across new and existing product lines.
- Assist and Develops Heat Transfer apparel labeling constructions and the associated equipment required to produce the final product. Periodically reviews his work with a senior staff member, project leader, and/or the technical manager.
- Assist in the trouble-shooting of production or customer problems related to his area of competence.
