Job Purpose
The Assistant Export Manager is responsible for managing and supervising export operations, customs compliance, regulatory documentation, and logistics coordination to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient international shipments while supporting the company's business growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Export Operations Management
Manage and supervise end-to-end export operations from order receipt to shipment completion.
Coordinate export shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.
Review and control export documentation, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin (C/O), Shipping Instruction, Export Declaration, and other related documents.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transportation providers to ensure smooth shipment execution.
Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve logistics, documentation, and customs clearance issues.
Export Compliance & Regulatory Management
Ensure all export activities comply with Vietnam regulations, destination country requirements, and company policies.
Manage and coordinate applications for Certificates of Origin (C/O), Certificates of Free Sale (CFS), and other export-related certifications.
Verify HS Codes, Incoterms, product classification, Rules of Origin, and export requirements.
Utilize applicable Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) such as ACFTA, ATIGA, CPTPP, and other trade agreements to secure tariff benefits and support business competitiveness.
Monitor changes in international trade regulations and assess their impact on export operations.
SOP & Process Improvement
Develop, maintain, and implement SOPs related to export operations and compliance management.
Identify opportunities to improve export processes, enhance operational efficiency, and optimize logistics costs.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support process digitalization.
Cross-functional Coordination
Act as the key coordinator among Production, QA, Warehouse, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Sales, and overseas customers.
Coordinate the resolution of shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and customer requirements.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Prepare and analyze export operational reports, shipment performance, compliance status, and logistics KPIs.
Identify improvement opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Head of Logistics Division.
Problem Solving & Operational Support
Handle urgent operational issues and provide effective solutions.
Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines in a dynamic working environment.
Other Duties
Perform other tasks assigned by the Head of Logistics Division.
Yêu cầu
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, International Trade, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Import/Export Operations, International Trade, or Logistics.
Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, international shipping, and trade compliance.
Hands-on experience in export documentation management and Certificate of Origin (C/O) application.
Strong understanding of Rules of Origin and experience utilizing Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) such as ACFTA, ATIGA, CPTPP, and other trade agreements to obtain tariff preferences.
Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, government authorities, and overseas customers.
Good understanding of Incoterms, HS Codes, and international logistics processes.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an advantage.
