We are urgently looking for a technically strong and hands-on Assistant IT Manager to join our growing operations in Phu Quoc, Vietnam.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience within the hospitality industry, with strong technical knowledge and the ability to provide day-to-day
IT support across multiple F&B and hospitality venues.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day IT support across multiple hospitality and F&B venues.
Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, POS systems, network equipment and other IT hardware.
Support POS systems, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, CCTV, access control, telephony and other operational technology systems.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and network-related issues with minimal downtime to operations.
Monitor network and system performance and coordinate preventive maintenance.
Manage user accounts, access permissions, system updates, backups and basic IT security requirements.
Support new venue openings, including IT infrastructure setup, equipment installation, testing and system implementation.
Coordinate with external IT vendors, service providers and system partners when required.
Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, licenses, equipment records and technical documentation.
Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams and end users.
Assist the IT Manager/management team with IT projects, upgrades and system improvements.
Ideal Candidate:
Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on IT experience, preferably within hotels, resorts, restaurants or hospitality groups.
Previous experience as an IT Supervisor, Senior
IT Specialist,
IT Executive or similar hands-on hospitality IT role.
Strong knowledge of networking, Wi-Fi, hardware/software troubleshooting and Microsoft environments.
Experience supporting POS and other hospitality technology systems is highly preferred.
Exposure to pre-opening or new-site IT setup would be an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
Able to work independently and support multiple operational locations.
Good interpersonal skills and communication skills in English.
Currently based in Vietnam or willing to relocate to Phu Quoc.
