JOB SUMMARY - GENERAL SCOPE AND PURPOSE
The Assistant Legal Manager is responsible for providing legal support in order to ensure that services are provided in an effective and efficient manner.
Organizational relationships:
- Report to CEO/Legal Manager/Chairman
- Liaise with Norfolk property departments and team members
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide office support and legal services in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within Norfolk Group office.
Main activities:
- Conducting legal analysis and researching legal matters;
- Providing accurate, relevant and timely advice to the Management and/or OD on a variety of legal topics that relates to the business/products/services and human resource;
- Assisting Legal Manager with the follow-up and communication with the internal stakeholders of legal advices and assistance provided by Legal Department.
- Communicating with and managing any third-party bodies such as external counsel/auditors/providers/customers;
- Stay up-to-date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect the company's business and specific industry;
- Drafting the first copy of legal documents;
- Providing word-processing secretarial support to the CEO;
- Submitting application of legal documents/certificates to the concerned authorities and follow up their feedback;
- Reporting to Legal Manager all matters relating to legal task;
- Organizing all legal documents in a confidential way;
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Yêu cầu
The Assistant Legal Manager must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
- Office administration
- An understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures
The Assistant Legal Manager must demonstrate the following skills:
- Good English communication skills (including verbal and written)
- Effective verbal and listening communications skills
- People/interpersonal skills
- Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized spreadsheet and word-processing programs at a highly proficient level.
- Organizational skills
The Assistant Legal Manager must maintain strict confidentiality in performing the duties assigned by the CEO/Chairman/Legal Manager with the following attributes:
- Be honest and trustworthy
- Be respectful
- Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Be flexible
- Office administration
