assistant Logistics Manager trainee

Mascot International is one of Europe's biggest workwear producers. The company has its head office in Denmark, and sales offices throughout Europe and factories in Vietnam and Laos, where the company employ 4.000 people.
We are hiring an Assistant Logistics Manager Trainee, successful and competent employees at this position will be fully trained and enrolled into a career development program to become an Assistant Logistics Manager, followed by Deputy Logistics Manager based on performance progress.
- Assist Senior Logistics Manager in overall management of all logistical subdepartments; Supply Chain, Import export, Shipping, Bonded warehouse, - Laboratory & Materials quality system.
- Responsible for overall plan of all day-to-day activities and operations of bonded warehouse, shipments, etc.
- Responsible for liaising with customs and relevant authorities, the procurement staff of Mascot International A/S.
- Manage shipments through all ports of entry, work with customs brokers, freight forwarders and other third-party providers.
- Monitor all inventory level reports to ensure high fill rate, bin location utilization, timely shipments.
- Assess department's operations and procedures, formulate policy, develop, implement new strategies and procedures following company's standard policy.
- Execute exceptional time management scheme, execute, prioritize and process multiple tasks as required.
- Responsible for reviewing, checking, verifying, and approving shipping documents.
- Support with developing and preparing complex databases, frequent reports, and presentation material for Logistics Manager.
- Develop comprehensive equipment and machinery calibration, maintenance plan in cooperation with Technical Manager. Monitor and execute equipment and machinery safe usage and durability plan.
- Elaborate proper safety and fire protection plan, in collaboration with Technical & Safety Manager, considering systematic safety drills for entire logistical facilities.
- Co-operate with related department to recruit employees for logistics
- Develop a comprehensive training program covering all aspects of the department.
