Assistant Manager Finance & Tax

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Finance & Tax based in Hanoi. This position is to ensure meticulous preparation of Financial and Tax statements within given timeline in compliance with Company's Group policy, Internal Control Procedures and adhering to local laws for the business. S/He will be a part of the Finance team, reporting to Finance Head, SEA. The Assistant Manager Finance & Tax will be responsible for the following key activities:
Responsibilities
a. Daily responsibility:
- Review and monitor processes for expenses/payment records in the SAP system for business transactions in compliance to Vesuvius GAAP & Local VAS.
- Data capturing including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and monthly accounts finalization in SAP.
- Ensure completion of all accounting entries related to closure of books / account of a period.
- Monitor Cash & working capital management.
- Ensure Internal control and monitor internal check system.
- Absolute compliance for direct and indirect taxes in Vietnam.
b. Month-end closing & Other:
- On time submission of Financial statement in DC-Controller for monthly financials and yearend budgets.
- Balance sheet reconciliation and submission to Group finance.
- Recheck the revaluation process at month ended.
- Manage the periodic closing process to ensure all accounting is appropriately recorded and reporting is submitted timely.
- Year-end Financial Audit and Tax Audit.
- Standard reporting for local management and Group Finance.
