RMIT Vietnam is looking for a short-term Associate Lecturer/Lecturer, Electrical and Electronic Engineering to contribute to the teaching activities within the School of Science and Technology for Semester 3/2019 starting from early October 2019 to late January 2020

School of Science and Technology
The School of Science and Technology at RMIT Vietnam is associated with the College of Science, Engineering and Health of RMIT University Melbourne, delivering the College's award programs and developing research in the field(s) of science, engineering and health. Programs currently taught on the Vietnam campus include the Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics), Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering), Bachelor of Engineering (Robotics & Mechatronics) and the Doctor of Philosophy (Engineering) (Electrical & Electronics Engineering).
The role & key responsibilities
Associate Lecturer/Lecturer, Electrical and Electronic Engineering will contribute to the teaching activities within the School of Science & Technology including running lectures, labs, tutorials, student consultation and marking for undergraduate Programs.

Key selection criteria
Master Degree (for Associate Lecturer) or PhD (for Lecturer) with relevant background
Strong team player with an inclusive and collaborative approach.
Proven teaching proficiency in Electrical and Electronic Engineering particularly Advanced Electronics and Advanced Mathematic courses for Semester 3/2019. Specific knowledge and skillset required for these two courses include
* Advanced Electronics:
Frequency Domain Analysis
Differential Amplifiers, Current Sources, BJT and MOSFET circuits, Class A, B, AB Amplifiers
Prototyping electronic circuits
Testing and Diagnosis of circuits
Experience in using electronic bench test equipment, e.g. oscilloscope, power supply, multimeter
Laboratory safety in an electronics laboratory
Advanced Mathematics
Fourier & Laplace transforms
Differential Equations
Application of mathematical knowledge to advanced electronic circuits

Vietnamese employees are offered an hourly rate at 610,000 VND gross per hour (Associate Lecturer level), or at 760,000 VND gross per hour (lecturer level).

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS 7.0 (with no competency less than 6.5).
