Associate Production Manager

I. SCOPE OF THE JOB
• Ensure safety of operations for people and goods by regular animation, indicator monitoring...
• Ensure preservation of environment and avoid/reduce environmental Impact
• Ensure quality of products manufactured under your supervision
• Ensure the quality of products delivered to customer
• Ensure the On-Time delivery and schedule deliveries
• Ensure shipment using normal and cheapest ways of transportation
• Ensure the financial performance of manufacturing by controlling and reducing:
1. Cost of labour and management of extra hours
2. Cost of NOK products and wastes
3. Cost of waste treatments
4. Cost of production supporting energies and fluids
5. Cost of consumables of production goods: ink, gloves, solvent, spare parts...
• Ensure environmental preservation in plant
• Ensure and maintain a communicative and collaborative attitude with and within the production and maintenance team and also between production and maintenance teams and the rest of the plant.
• Raise the level of quality awareness and professionalism of the plant
• Manage, train and motivate the team
• Ensure good cooperation with local team and Korean team
• Prepare and Passe audits and visits
• Provide and report accurate, relevant and useful data and information to hierarchy and his team
• Prepare and Pass audits
• Provide and report accurate data
• Make technical studies and capitalize these data after sharing and action plan
• LOTO and workpermit for maintenance activities internally and external companies must be performed and recorded and archived
• You have the duty to control the respect of parameters of process : specially mixing, kneader, extrusion, VULCANISATION
• You have the duty to ensure the recordings of parameters, and the duty to alert and stop immediately production if parameters are not in range of acceptable Q.
• You have the duty to control the respect of the antierror systems: Coex, LoR leak...
• You have the duty to ensure production is stopped if the process parameters are not respected, thus making dangerous quality for customer
• Ensure the deployment and implementation of IATF 16949 in scope of job, in charge of corrective and preventive action, be the pillot of of process card P-CO5-VN of own area in IATF system.
You have the power and duty to stop production or any activity which could be harmfuml for HUTCHINSON and/or the customer.

II. MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION
• Ensure the cleanness, tidiness, discipline in the plant
• Define and get signed by you, me and your manager's job descriptions of your indirect staff
• Ensure all direct and indirect staff have received targets and had a yearly interview using the proper TOTAL format
• Animate at least one weekly meeting Safety/quality/performance/organisation/information meeting with your staff and have a written report done and issued
• Have one weekly meeting of 45min maxi to give training and information on the problems and solutions for each shift regarding safety/quality/performance review, for all sections
• DAILY review of production plan with Logistics and workshop manager
• Prepare of the Gemba tour and indicators, mostly on safety and the QRQC
• Make a weekly meeting and action plan with your middle management and report
• Ensure the shift records book is made and signed daily in all shifts
• Ensure weekly follow-up of the new project's actions and transfers to ensure the capacity of production review and update
• Any claim or alert shall be posted on gemba board, explained to all and signed
• Organise the shifts work by shifts with operators people
• Organise the maintenance department and organises the job of people one by one action plan follow-up.
• Ensure production tools, documents and machines are conformed and updated permanently
• Ensure the preparation of the gemba walk daily by preparing before the review
• Ensure maintenance action plan and a weekly ritual for maintenance
• Issue action plan and regular updates to ensure progress of production indicators
• Participate actively to the safety audit of direction and makes safety audit by zone at his level
• Prepare the Gemba indicators and reporting/analysis before the start of Gemba
• Have extrusion/vulcanisation/finishing operations having their table and charts related to safety, productivity and absenteeism
• Ensure proper storage and handling of tools and equipment
• Develop lean manufacturing operations as a reduction of 7 MUDA with FIFO, PULL FLOW, HOSHIN WORKSHOP, and other lean manufacturing improvement tools
• Ensure start of production of new products
• Ensure disponibility of installations with maintenance team
• Ensure good and constructive communication with the other services of the plant
III. TARGET INDICATOR KPI
-number of accident shall be zero
-number of dangerous situation edited and solved shall be 3/person per year
-number of claims 15 and customer ppm target 10
-material transformation rate comparing weight scrapped and weight of good parts target 85%
-efficiency of the labour force
-on-time delivery indicator,
-absenteeism rate
_maintenance budget control
IV. DAILY PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
• Adapt the organisation to production planning
• Control and adapt the workforce for efficiency improvement
• Ensure improvement in flows and cleanness
• Control and push actions underway to start new products
• Ensure recordings of processes
• Ensure identification of all parts at each step of the process
• Ensure the quality respect of standards in all zones
• Listen to the team to collect information and keep constructive organisation running
V. REPORTINGS
• Official HUTCHINSON reportings shall be issued on time and be reliable and accurate
• Other reports as required by the plant manager
VI. AUDITS
- Internal audits and customer audits shall be carefully prepared and passed
- IATF 16949 shall be a guide for our organisation daily
VII. TOOLS AND CONTROL TOOLS
• Tools shall be permanently in good condition, identified and stored correctly
• Tools shall have a life card and be controlled a minimum of once a year ensuring good quality
• Any new tool for measurement shall have a reception card ensuring it was controlled and validated before being used
