POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Associate Research Manager (ARM) bridges the gap between Senior Research Executive and Research Manager. In addition to hands-on execution tasks (questionnaire design, data management, analysis, and reporting), this role manages medium-to-large projects, engages directly with clients, leads small teams, coaches junior staff, and supports the Research Manager on process and team development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Project Execution & Design:
• Design questionnaires, discussion guides, and other research tools.
• Lead quantitative, qualitative research projects from design through reporting and deliver compelling presentations to clients.
• Perform hands-on tasks when necessary to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
2. Project Management:
• Manage mid to large-scale projects with attention to cost, speed, and quality.
• Coordinate with Operations, Data Processing, and other internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Proactively resolve arising issues and report promptly to the Research Manager.
3. Client Engagement:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients; handle issues and ad-hoc requests effectively.
• Support Research Managers in proposal discussions, project briefings, client presentations when necessary and identifying new business opportunities.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
• Supervise 1-2 Senior or Junior Research Executives; delegate tasks, monitor progress, and evaluate performance.
• Review project outputs and provide constructive feedback to improve team capabilities.
• Support the Manager in team development activities, including mentoring and coaching junior team members to improve skill sets and project contributions.
5. Process & Innovation:
• Recommend process improvements and adopt new tools/technologies for efficiency.
Yêu cầu
Must have:
• 4-5 years of experience in market research agencies or equivalent (E.g., Consumer Insights, Marketing departments in FMCG companies that frequently work with market research), including at least 2 years of independently managing projects
• Proficiency in questionnaire design, data analysis, and report writing
• Client-facing experience with proven issue-resolution skills.
• Fluency in both Vietnamese and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
