I/ JOB PURPOSE: The Associate Strategic Planning Manager bridges the gap between rigorous data and creative breakthroughs. This role serves as the agency's strategic voice, leading high-stakes pitches with compelling storytelling that sells bold ideas, transforming client skepticism into conviction and turning strategic vision into approved reality.
II/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Excellence & IMC Mastery (50% workload)
Go beyond basic level data to unearth powerful consumer truths and market tensions through various primary and secondary research methodologies.
Define the "Ignition Point" and craft a seamless multi-channel approach that integrates Digital, Social and Offline touchpoints (IMC) to drive marketing & communication growth.
Develop comprehensive content strategies, including pillars, angles and flows that align with the brand's long-term vision.
Write sharp, provocative Creative Briefs that act as a "beacon" for the Creative team, turning strategic objectives into a springboard for world-class ideas.
Presentation & Idea Selling (30% Workload)
Lead high-stakes pitching sessions and strategy presentations. You must transform complex decks into compelling narratives that captivate and inspire the audience.
Act as the primary defender of the agency's ideas. You should possess the ability to handle tough objections, pivot when necessary and use strategic logic to contribute in selling creative solutions that push boundaries.
Master the art of deck-crafting, ensuring every slide is logically structured, visually impactful and reinforces the core strategic argument.
Business Development & Relationship Management (15% Workload)
Partner with the Account team to identify untapped opportunities for
existing clients, delivering proactive proposals that increase brand value and agency billing.
Participate in and lead client workshops or ideation sessions, positioning yourself as a trusted strategic advisor rather than just a service provider.
Innovation & Industry Awareness (5% workload)
Stay updated with market trends and propose new tactics/formats to refresh client campaigns.
