Job Overview
Evolution Technologies Viet Nam is the Vietnamese subsidiary of Evolution Technologies Inc., a Canadian-owned medical equipment manufacturer. Evolution Technologies Viet Nam is setting up operations at the prestigious Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park and is looking for talented candidates to apply for the position of Automation Engineer. Successful candidates will be able to design, build, procure, test, maintain, and validate automation equipment such as PLC's, industrial robots, production machines, and packaging machines.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assess project requirements
- Perform full cycle product development (design, develop, test, manufacture, implement, evaluate)
- Conduct experiments and analyze data and results
- Identify and formulate solutions for emerging problems
- Evaluate product performance, reliability and safety
- Alter and modify design to meet requirements and eliminate malfunctions

Yêu cầu

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor degree in Engineering or higher
Experience
5+ years of experience in a
o English-speaking environment
o Production or design environment (manufacturing facility)
o Automation engineering or mechatronics position
o Company designing or manufacturing metal or plastic products
Required Skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English (IELTS 4.5+ or TOEIC 600+)
- Proficiency with Solidworks and AutoCAD (or equivalent 2D/3D CAD software)
- Proficiency with automation and process simulation software (e.g. ABB Robot Studio, Siemens Plant Simulation, etc.)
- Deep understanding of automation components (e.g. cylinders, motion control, actuators, etc.)
Useful Skills
- Mandarin, Cantonese, or Japanese language
- Knowledge of operating prototyping machinery or CNC machines
- Hands-on or prototyping skills
- Solid understanding of core concepts of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, material science, etc.
- Valid driver's license
