Your responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for Web and API applications.
- Collaborate with the development team to review requirements, clarify functionalities, and identify potential risks.
- Build, maintain, and optimize automation test scripts using Playwright or Cypress, or other relevant frameworks.
- Integrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality validation.
- Perform functionality, regression, integration, performance, and compatibility testing as required.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy discussions.
- Ensure test coverage and maintain high standards of product quality across releases.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and best practices across the team.
The ideal candidate:
- Major in Information Technology (University/College)
- At least 2 years of experience in software testing, including a minimum of 1 year in automation testing.
- Hands-on experience in Web and API testing.
- Proficient in using test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or other automation frameworks in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab CI,).
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts and ability to write and execute SQL queries.
- Good understanding of software development processes.
- Good command of English, especially in reading and writing.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience working in cloud environments is an advantage.
