Mission: Build and maintain the automated testing framework to ensure build stability and reduce manual regression effort. You will be the engineer ensuring our games run smoothly across hundreds of devices automatically.
Framework Development:
Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using C# (Unity) or Python.
Implement automation tools specific to games (e.g., AltUnity / Alt
Tester, Airtest, or Appium).
Automated Regression & Smoke Testing:
Create scripts to automatically play through the first N levels of the game to verify difficulty curves and soft-locks.
Automate UI navigation, Shop purchases (Sandbox), and Ad triggering flows.
CI/CD Integration:
Integrate automated tests into the build pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or TeamCity).
Ensure "Nightly Builds" are automatically tested and reports are sent to Slack/Email by morning.
Performance Automation:
Automate performance benchmarking: Measure launch time, battery drain, and FPS average across different device tiers.
Yêu cầu
Experience: 2+ years in Software/Game Automation or Development.
Coding Skills: Strong proficiency in C# (preferred for Unity integration) or Python.
Tooling: Experience with AltTester (AltUnity), Airtest Project, or Selenium/Appium adapted for games.
Unity Knowledge: Understanding of Unity GameObject hierarchy to map elements for automation.
Mindset: "Lazy" in a smart way - always looking to automate repetitive tasks.
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience setting up Device Farms (AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack) or local device labs.
Background in Computer Science.
