Automation SW Testing Engineer Python/Tester/OOP

Datalogic Vietnam is searching for Automation SW Testing Engineer with the following characteristics:

Job responsibilities

• The Automation SW Testing Engineer will help with the testing of FRS products. The test engineer will develop new test cases, automation and test procedures for FRS products.
• This position will be responsible for validating FRS products to work well with all external accessories and POS machine. The position will report the defects in the defect tracking system and validate the software fixes.

Specific responsibilities:

• Research and analyze the software requirements and relevant specifications to understand the scope of the projects and what should be tested to avert risk and prevent software issues.
• Develop and update test cases/test scripts both manual and automation tests to fit the test purpose.
• Execute the defined/assigned tests, document the testing phases, troubleshoot issues, and report defects/bugs/errors to appropriate responsible engineers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education (School/Specialization): Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer, Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Primary Language: Vietnamese, English
• Years of Experience: 1-2 years of experience in automation testing
• Technical skills: Python, Robot Framework is plus

OTHER INFORMATION & SPECIFIC SKILLS:

• Experience in reading documents and designing test cases effectively
• Very good at defect finding and reporting.
• Attention to detail but also being able to validate the product as a whole
• Provide test result reports for test leaders
• Experience in API testing, and driver testing is a plus
• Experience in automation tests, and developing test scripts is a plus
• Good judgment, communication, consultancy, and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a team and as an individual tester.
• Work under pressure and tight deadlines
