Your role & responsibilities:
Create and maintain organized and efficient data models & APIs.
Backend programming in Python, and following software development life cycle.
Develop and document tasks, create diagrams.
Collaborate with other teams to design, build, test, and ship high-quality software.
Perform code reviews.
Troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Working on a live production environment while maintaining 99.99% uptime.
Other ad hoc duties as assigned by Line Manager.
Your skills & qualifications:
Experience at least 3 years building modern back-end systems.
Experience with developing web services using FastAPI, Django, Flask framework.
Experience with designing & developing APIs, using the RESTful, gRPC, GraphQL.
Understanding design database, ORM, and optimize query (SQL and NoSQL databases).
Experience working with Linux, Kubernetes, Docker.
Experience with Unit Test and Integration Test.
Experience working on event based distributed systems and microservice architecture.
Able to work with ReactJS.
Experience with agile development, rapid release cycles, and supporting customer-oriented solutions.
NICE TO HAVE
Proven ability for developing high-volume web applications.
Experience with cloud environment: AWS; with CI/CD.
Experience with message queue such as Celery, RabbitMQ.
Experience with two or more data systems: MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka, Cassandra.
Experience with monitoring and troubleshoot deployed applications.
Experience with transactions, locks and concurrency programming.
Work experience in engineering team in retail/commerce companies.
