We're looking for a mid-level engineer to own both backend service development and data engineering on a realtime facility navigation and asset-tracking platform for industrial and logistics sites. The platform ingests live positioning and telemetry data from BLE-based tracking hardware, correlates it into events (e.g., asset pickups, movement, dwell time), and exposes it through backend services to web and mobile clients.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs (C#/.NET) that power the platform's core business logic
Implement and maintain the service layer for asset tracking, facility navigation, and event detection features
Integrate with third-party positioning/telemetry providers and their APIs
Define and evolve API contracts in collaboration with the frontend team (web admin portal and mobile app)
Write automated tests, participate in code review, and help keep the codebase maintainable as the platform grows
Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of backend services in production
Requirements
What We're Looking For
2-5 years of professional
software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in C#/.NET for backend service development
Experience integrating with third-party APIs and webhooks
Comfortable working with real-time or near-real-time data processing requirements
Experience with a major cloud platform (Azure preferred, given the .NET stack)
Strong communication skills and comfort working in a small, cross-functional, fast-moving team
Nice to Have
Experience with actor-model or distributed-systems frameworks (e.g., Orleans)
Background in industrial, logistics, or IoT domains

Full-time schedule: 8 hours per day, with mandatory availability for at least 4 hours
