Our top client in BATTERY (AUTOMOTIVE) MANUFACTURING (Hanoi Capital - Vietnam) is looking for Factory Manager - Battery Cell

Position: Factory Manager - Cell Factory - Ha Noi
Job Description:
The Operations Manager will be an active participant in the launch of the 21700 cyclindrical lithium-ion battery manufacturing line.
You will build and direct the battery cell operations team, in collaboration with other engineering, quality, and R&D teams.
Your primary responsibilities include supervising, hiring, and training employees, managing quality assurance programs, and strategizing process improvement with the goal of maintaining and increasing efficiency.
Create and direct the battery cell operations function from the ground up;
Create and implement an operations strategy and system with the goal of sustainability and profitability;
Manage data collection to update operations metrics and perform a gap analysis on a timely basis; and
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and cost leadership.
Create a training program to achieve a standardized way of working
Establish and maintain the most up-to-date efficiency and safety standards
Maintain constant communication with personnel involved in the manufacturing shop floor's long-term operations.

Job Requirements:
10+ years of experience in the battery industry in manufacturing, engineering, quality, and/or research and development
5+ years of operations manager experience in a 24/7 battery manufacturing environment, with a preference for cylindrical batteries.
Proven track record of leading Continuous Improvement activities to increase the efficiency of Manufacturing processes and/or procedures in order to improve and sustain internal capacity (cost, scrap, productivity etc)
Practical experience implementing whole and/or partial operations systems in a manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of moving products from prototype to production; program manager experience is preferred.
Target-oriented and self-motivated attitude in high-pressure and dynamic environments, plus It's a plus if you're well-versed in conflict resolution.
excellent database knowledge and visualization skills for data-driven decision making and communication
Auditing / setup / commissioning / initial stabilization & optimization / ramp-up for new manufacturing line is a plus
Fluency in English is a big plus.
