Bridge System Engineer BrSE ERP/.NET/C#

Our client, a leading international Japanese IT solutions provider, is looking for an experienced Senior Bridge System Engineer (BrSE) specializing in AI Solutions. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the vital technical and linguistic bridge, collaborating directly with Japanese enterprise clients to design, consult on, and deliver advanced AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Computer Vision, and NLP applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between Japanese clients and local engineering squads for AI/ML, Generative AI, Computer Vision, and NLP projects.
• Lead requirement-gathering sessions with prospective and existing clients, providing expert consultation on feasible AI architecture options.
• Conduct detailed business requirement analysis (BA), translating high-level business goals into precise, actionable technical specifications for development teams.
• Produce and maintain Japanese-standard project documentation, including Requirement Definitions (要件定義書), Basic Designs (基本設計), and Detailed Designs (詳細設計).
• Review technical deliverables, AI models, and code from development and data science teams to ensure alignment with client expectations before delivery.
• Facilitate regular client meetings, present project results, propose technical solutions, and manage issue resolution.
• Conduct internal training sessions to upskill team members on Japanese business communication standards and foundational AI concepts.
• Handle additional technical and project-related tasks as directed by project leadership.

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related IT fields.
• JLPT N2 or higher Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 preferred), with confident spoken communication and strong presentation skills in Japanese business environments.
• Solid AI & ML Knowledge:
• Fundamental understanding of core AI concepts and common solution architectures.
• Practical knowledge of primary Machine Learning algorithms (Classification, Regression, Clustering, etc.).
• Familiarity with AI Cloud environments and deployment infrastructure (e.g., Azure ML, Azure AI Foundry).
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience participating in AI-focused projects in any capacity.
• Strong technical documentation skills with proven experience creating Japanese-style design documents (要件定義書, 基本設計書, etc.).
• Practical understanding of modern software development life cycles (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall).

Nice to Have:

• Basic knowledge of Deep Learning architectures (CNN, RNN, Transformer).
• Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Prompt Engineering techniques.
• Python development experience or familiarity with MLOps frameworks.
• Experience building Chatbot platforms utilizing LLM + RAG/Agent architectures.
• Hands-on experience working onsite in Japan or collaborating directly with Japanese stakeholders.
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Redmine, or Backlog.
