The Job
We are looking for a sharp and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a strong background in IT and software development.
Responsibilities
- Obtain high-level functional requirements from internal stakeholders or customers.
- Actively communicate with stakeholders to clarify any requirements.
- Requirements Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders through various techniques such as interviews, workshops, surveys, and process analysis.
- Process Analysis: Map and analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with development and product teams to design and propose effective and scalable solutions that meet business needs.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (FRS, BRD etc..), functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Testing & Validation: Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure the delivered solution meets the documented requirements.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data to identify trends, measure performance, and support decision-making.
- Change(history) Management: Assist in the development and implementation of change management strategies to ensure a smooth transition to new processes or systems with patch notes.
Your Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role (at least 2 years of experience handling business requirements directly from business users).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, and Lucidchart.
- Experience with different project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are a plus.
- Self-initiation and proactivity as a team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Familiarity with Figma.
- Hands-on software engineering experience.
- Knowledge of additional project methodologies.
- Strong documentation, record-keeping, and tracking skills.
- Ability to exert sufficient influence on developers.
- Strategic thinking in the face of limited resources and limitations.
- Flexible and agile response capability (focus on speed or detail as needed).
