Mô tả công việc
1. Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) for Process Safety and Engineering (PSE) is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and positioning the company as a leading provider of process safety and engineering solutions. This role combines technical knowledge of process safety with strategic sales and marketing expertise to build relationships, develop proposals, and drive business growth in the oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, and other high-hazard industries.
2. Job Description
• Market Research and Strategy:
o Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitors in the process safety and engineering.
o Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company's process safety and engineering services.
• Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
o Identify and pursue new clients in industries requiring process safety and engineering solutions.
o Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including BOM, HSE Managers, Operation Managers, Plant Managers, and decision-makers.
o Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their process safety and engineering challenges and requirements.
• Sales and Proposal Development:
o Review/Prepare proposals and presentations that address client needs, emphasizing the value and benefits of process safety and engineering solutions.
o Lead contract negotiations and close sales deals.
o Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaboration with Technical Teams:
o Work closely with process safety engineers and experts/consultants to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutionsaligned with client expectations.
• Promotion of Process Safety Services:
o Develop and execute marketing plans, including participation in industry conferences, webinars, and trade shows.
o Create promotional materials, case studies, and client testimonials to highlight the company's expertise in process safety and engineering.
• Monitoring and Reporting:
o Track and analyze business development activities, providing regular reports to senior management on progress and engineering, challenges, and opportunities.
• Other duties assigned by CEO / Chairman.

Qualifications and Skills
o Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
o Experience: proven records in business development, sales, or project management within process safety or engineering services.
o Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities; strategic thinking.
