Business Finance Manager

A leading retail company is looking for a Business Finance Manager to join their Finance team. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the sector, excellent financial acumen, and the ability to provide insights that drive business performance.
Description

Financial Planning & Analysis:
* Develop and oversee financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions
* Monitor financial performance against targets and provide variance analysis
* Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management
*
Strategic Financial Management:
* Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies
* Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations
* Support strategic initiatives, including market expansion and new product launches
*
Operational Finance:
* Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
* Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial health
*
Business Partnering:
* Work closely with various departments (e.g., marketing, sales, operations) to provide financial insights and support
* Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, offering financial guidance and strategic input
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA)
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance, with a focus on the FMCG/ retail sector
* Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in financial modeling and use of financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
