BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE PROFESSIONAL The Role
Are you passionate about turning raw data into strategic business insights and pioneering new technologies?
As our Business Intelligence Professional , you will be the engine that turns business and operational data into reliable, actionable insights. You will design automated reporting solutions, build dynamic data models, integrate emerging AI technologies, and partner directly with
business leaders to translate complex questions into clear analytical requirements.
Your work will directly empower SKF Vietnam to make faster, fact-based decisions while elevating our data governance and tech-driven analytics culture.
What You Will Do
1. Commercial Intelligence
Analyze commercial performance (business partners and customers, leads, opportunities pipeline, order intake, and sales) using SAP C4C and ERP data.
Design and maintain KPI scorecards and management dashboards connecting C4C activities with SAP ERP outcomes.
Identify high-growth product lines, white-space opportunities, and performance drivers to provide actionable recommendations for the Sales team.
2. Operational & Financial Intelligence
Dive deep into SAP ERP data spanning finance, pricing, supply chain, logistics, and inventory.
Integrate multiple data sources (SAP ERP, SAP C4C) to create a reliable, end-to-end view of our business performance.
Uncover operational trends, risks, and root causes to drive process improvements.
3. AI Integration, Automation & Data Governance
AI Tools & Application Development:
Explore, develop, and integrate AI-driven tools (such as Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, or LLM APIs) to enhance data analytics, predictive modeling, and business workflows.
Next-Gen Analytics:
Identify practical business use cases for machine learning and AI to solve complex commercial and operational challenges, moving from descriptive to predictive analytics.
Process Automation:
Automate manual workflows, data preparation, and recurring reports using Power BI, Power Query, DAX, SQL, Python, or Power Automate to boost efficiency.
Data Governance:
Act as the guardian of data accuracy: validate data, investigate inconsistencies, and define KPI logic and access controls in line with SKF's strict privacy requirements.
4. Business Partnering & Insight Activation
Collaborate with business stakeholders to frame questions and build decision-support solutions.
Translate complex data into compelling management presentations and clear, practical business language.
Champion data literacy by training users on self-service analytics, dashboards, and newly deployed AI tools.
What You Need to Succeed
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
3+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or process automation (industrial or multinational experience is highly preferred).
Technical Expertise
Data Visualization:
Advanced proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard design, and access management).
AI & Machine Learning:
Practical experience with, or a strong passion for, AI application development, prompt engineering, or deploying machine learning models in a business context.
Advanced Data Tools:
Strong Excel and working knowledge of SQL. Familiarity with leveraging AI APIs and using Python or R for predictive analytics and NLP is a significant advantage.
Systems:
Hands-on experience extracting and analyzing data from SAP ERP and SAP C4C is highly desirable.
