Mission
Buyer is in charge of researching goods resource and managing relationship with suppliers to choice best products at stores to satisfy customers demand.
Activities
Elaborate working plan to reach target
- Evaluate activities of respective sector in last year and build up action plan to reach target of new year in accordance with company policies
- Follow up and correct working plan in accordance with targets set
Manage products
- Buyer has to understand his/her respective sector in market as assigned to elaborate optimize goods assortment, in accordance with customer demand
- Research and purchase products with best price and quality in accordance with government regulations about goods quality management
- Negotiate with suppliers in case of change of purchasing terms
- Follow, analyse and propose solutions to improve business increasing
Manage relationship with suppliers
- Negotiate contracts terms
- Organize contracts signing
- Organize liquidation of contract
- Negotiate contract terms, promotion programs
- Liaise with suppliers to exchange information about goods resource and price
Organize promotion program
- Elaborate program plan
- Define prioritized goods, seasonal goods in promotion subject
- Price determination
- Control price vis-à-vis competitors' price
Support stores and accounting department
- Support stores in setting of stock and price in system
- Support stores in solving difficulties with suppliers about delivering, goods quality, price...
- Support accounting department about invoices, documents, payment ; support in settling debts with suppliers
Report
- Periodically make report as required by superior to support in purchasing : Pricing and quality according with market demand, clearly information and sufficient in quantity
- Other activities according to job requirements and assigned by superiors
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Education: University degree in Economic or Commerce
Experience: FMCG retail
Language: Communication in English
Office skills: Fluent Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
Attitude: Sense of business, honest, able to syntherizing information, eager tolearn, rigorous in working, creative
Functional knowledge & experience:
- Knowledge in retail market
- General knowledge of working environment : product range, price and planogram, customers, working procedures related, internal
- Experience in commercial management at stores or purchasing, sales is a priority
Functional skill:
- Exploring database from GOLD and Big C Nego
- Commercial calculation
Other skills:
- Time management
- Teamwork, Communication
- Negotiation
