eCommerce Business Analyst / Delivery Consultant

/ Melbourne

The Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate eCommerce specialist with 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, eCommerce Consultant or Delivery Consultant, specialising in Adobe Commerce / Magento Commerce platform.

You will have the opportunity to work across numerous clients and be involved in all stages of our business cycle from sales, architecture and technical design (agile or waterfall), as well as providing architectural oversight for the delivery of eCommerce solutions.

Annual Salary Package: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00

This position requires BA-related skills on SFIA levels 3 - 4.

Key Responsibilities

Elicitation, analysis and management of business and technical requirements and alignment of requirements with the core platform functionality.
Business process and data modelling and documentation.
Preparation of high-level functional/technical artefacts for proposals, ensuring alignment of selected solutions and platforms with the business needs of clients.
Decomposition into architecture and solution building blocks. Alignment with our core platforms and identification of required custom features. Related Documentation.
Roadmapping features and functionality.
Participation in the functional design of solutions together with our implementation teams.
Planning of the project delivery based on the prioritised sets of requirements and identified features.
Participation in the multidisciplinary implementation teams in the roles of proxy product owner or delivery consultant to ensure ongoing backlog grooming, prioritisation, eliciting requirements, delivery oversight and control, dependency management and planning taking into account prioritised backlog.
Solution consultancy across customer stakeholders on various levels with business and technical background.
Participating in the sprint planning, preparing and conducting sprint demo sessions

Requirements

Previous experience working with either digital agencies, software development companies or merchants in the eCommerce sector.
2+ years of relevant experience with Adobe / Magento Commerce.
Previous roles could include: Business Analysis, Software Development, Project Management with minimum of 2 years fulfilling BA responsibilities.
Highly-developed presentation, communications and documentation skills.
Experience of working in an Agile environment.
Genuine appetite to learn and adopt new technologies and skills including investing personal time to deepen knowledge and gain certifications.
Proven ability to organise information, solve problems and think outside the box.
Ability to work in cross functional and geographically distributed teams.
Australian Citizenship or PR.
