* Responsibilities
- Manage the Accounting to provide accurate and timely accounting reporting, cash control reporting and cost accounting reporting to the Finance Director, to ensure all accounting functions are efficiently undertaken and to ensure full legal compliance in the area of accounting.
- Ensure all established accounting processes and proper accounting rules are implemented correctly and followed to ensure optimum efficiency and accuracy of accounting reporting and functions. Propose improvements to the Finance Director for continuous improvement of accounting processes.
- To undertake accounting duties as required including but not necessarily limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, accounts reporting, reconciling bank reports, preparing tax declarations, managing fixed assets, inter-company monthly reporting, managing bank transaction, payroll.
- Make proposals regarding the legal compliance situation of the company in relation to taxation, business registration, personal taxation of employees.
- Manage the accounting software and ensure all accounting staff are properly trained in the use of accounting software and understand the internal accounting principles for managing the accounts.
- Work with other key managers regarding accounting procedures including but not limited to: expense claims and reimbursements; flight and accommodation payments.
- Participate in the Group Consolidation of accounts such as but not limited to preparation of Conso package, Calculation of ECL, and other reports required to finish the consolidation
- Establish, implement, and track cost accounting for project-based work within the organization, and undertake appropriate analysis to identify early warnings for non-profitable projects; highlight appropriate selling margins; track overall financial performance of project work
- Ensure cash management, forecasted revenue, and monthly P&L is reliable and measurable. Ensure that all the risks are under control and identified on a monthly basis. Focusing on risk anticipation. Analyze the effectiveness of each department. Monthly report will be sent to PM's/Directors for their own control
- Produce a Monthly financial report with relevant analysis and explanation on variances.
- . General ledger reconciliation, month end closing, consolidation of financial statements, cash management reports to be checked and endorsed before being provided to the Finance Director.
- Bank transfers.
- Liaison with Government Departments on financial issues and to ensure organizational compliance.
- Prepare cashflow bi-monthly forecast with variance analysis
