Chief Accountant freeC's Client

freeC's Client currently has an opportunity for a Chief Accountant who would be responsible for accounting activities such as general reporting, transactional tax, treasury activities, etc. and ensure adherence to compliance policies. Joining our team in the Ho Chi Minh office and reporting to the Head of Finance, HQ, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for managing the financial and accounting system and ensuring general accounting activities are done smoothly and in accordance with Vietnamese accounting standards, regulations of the Ministry of Finance and group policies.
Prepare financial reports, tax reports, other reports and accounting books on a timely basis in accordance with the regulations of state management agencies in accordance with Vietnamese accounting standards and regulations of the Ministry of Finance.
Review and approve financial documents and reports, accounting entries, accounting and tax reports according to the regulations of the company, tax department and state. Represent the company to liaise with governmental authorities on financial and tax matters.
Preparation financial statements, monthly management report, budgeting, forecasting and reconciliation schedules.
Management of proper internal controls over cash receipts, receivables, payables, advances, expenses, fixed assets.
Provide finance leadership and manage the finance team effectively, to ensure that the department is performing their tasks diligently and correctly.
Help management to review, analyse and make recommendations upon the preparation of the monthly financial performance report
Support HQ Finance in monitoring Financial Matters and making pro-active recommendations for matters relating to cash flow, receivables, finance related regulations and compliance, timely reporting to Board of Directors and Head Finance in SG.
