JOB PURPOSE
Ensure the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of all accounting and financial operations,
while providing timely and reliable financial insights to support management decision-making
and enhance overall business performance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Payable & Daily Accounting Operations
• Oversee the checking, management, and tracking of all incoming invoices to ensure accuracy
and compliance.
• Supervise daily and monthly payments of payables; ensure system balances match actual
transactions.
• Monitor fixed assets, tools, and equipment accounting; review reconciliations and ensure all
entries comply with VAS and internal policies.
Tax Compliance & Regulatory Reporting
• Prepare and check VAT, PIT, CIT and other tax declarations; handle tax payments per current
regulations.
• Ensure timely submission of tax reports and proper maintenance of tax-related documentation.
• Manage VAT refund dossiers; ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations (if applicable).
Costing, Inventory & Manufacturing Finance
• Establish, review and control product costing systems; analyze cost variances and coordinate
with Production to identify root causes.
• Coordinate with Production and Logistics for accurate inventory accounting, including costing
and valuation.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs, scrap, rework, and abnormal losses; conduct periodic
inventory counts.
Financial Reporting, Analysis & Management Support
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management reports; deliver
ad-hoc reports as required by leadership.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide clear, practical recommendations to support
management decisions.
• Supervise cash flow planning; ensure sufficient liquidity and identify potential financial risks or
imbalances early.
ERP implementation and improvement
• Ensure proper configuration and use of ERP/accounting systems; act as key user for finance
modules and support process improvements.
External Relations & Risk Management
• Work with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and regulatory bodies during inspections, audits, and
reporting processes.
• Identify financial, tax, and compliance risks; propose and implement mitigation actions.
Yêu cầu
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related fields.
• Chief Accountant Certificate issued by competent authorities (mandatory).
• Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, including at least 2-3 years as Chief Accountant or equivalent in a manufacturing/export company.
• Experience in manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting for production/export companies is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working with tax authorities, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Knowledge & Skills
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), tax regulations, and relevant legal requirements.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills in managing accounting teams and coordinating with cross-functional departments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills; able to identify financial risks and propose corrective or preventive actions.
• Good English proficiency for reading and preparing financial reports, tax documents, audit materials, and communication with foreign stakeholders.
• Proficient in ERP/accounting software; experience with ProAlpha or SAP is an advantage.
• High attention to detail, strong sense of discipline, and commitment to financial data confidentiality.
