1. Accounting Operations & Financial Closing
• Oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, bank transactions, accruals, fixed assets, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Ensure accounting records are properly maintained in compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and internal policies.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
2. Financial Reporting & Group Reporting
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Provide management reports and financial analysis for local management and headquarters.
• Analyze financial performance, cost movements, and key variances, and provide explanations when required.
3. Tax, Statutory Compliance & Audit
• Take responsibility for all tax matters, including VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT (if applicable), tax declarations, and tax finalization.
• Ensure compliance with Vietnamese accounting, tax, and statutory requirements.
• Lead and coordinate statutory audits, tax inspections, and communication with auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors.
• Maintain proper accounting books, invoices, contracts, and statutory supporting documents.
4. Cash Management, Internal Control & Risk Management
• Monitor cash flow, bank balances, funding requirements, and payment schedules.
• Review payment requests and supporting documents to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting/tax requirements.
• Identify accounting, tax, and operational risks, and recommend practical improvements.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting/reporting processes for better efficiency and governance.
5. Team Management & Business Support
• Work closely with HR, Admin, Legal, and other departments on payroll, contracts, compliance, and finance-related matters.
• Provide accounting and tax guidance to internal stakeholders and support management on finance-related decisions.
Yêu cầu
Mandatory Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
• Must meet the legal requirements to serve as Chief Accountant in Vietnam.
• Chief Accountant Certificate is required.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience
• Solid hands-on experience in:
o Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS)
o Vietnam tax regulations
o monthly/year-end closing
o preparation of statutory financial statements and profit & loss statements
o tax declaration and tax finalization
o external audit coordination
• Basic conversational English skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in an FDI company or a multinational environment.
• Experience in VAS to IFRS conversion and/or supporting IFRS-based reporting
• Experience in industries involving high transaction volume, payment/merchant settlement, or financial service-related operations
• Prior experience working with external accounting/tax consultants and statutory auditors.
• Basic conversational Korean skills
