Chief Accountant (Remote)

- Financial Management:
+ Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and financial reports.
+ Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement strategies to optimize financial operations.
- Compliance:
+ Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and legal requirements, also avoid conflict with whole Organization's strategy.
+ Keep up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
- Budgeting and Cost Control:
+ Supervise budget preparation, prepare and distribute the accounting reports for supporting periodical finance reviews (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
+ Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
+ Create, maintain, and update all accounting procedures and processes for well-managing accounting data & accounting reports;
- Team Leadership:
+ Manage and mentor a team of accountants and financial professionals.
+ Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and ensure the smooth operation of the finance department.
+ Establish accounting structure for the company and well-organized accounting function according to legal requirements.
+ In charge of all booking & reporting with full bookkeeping/ accounting tasks.
+ Apply and enhance procedures and accounting processes for supporting all departments within the company as well as its parent companies, and work with other departments to ensure they understand and follow your department's workflow.
- Internal Control:
+ Develop and implement internal control procedures to safeguard company assets, ensure accurate financial records, and prevent fraudulent activities.
+ Regularly assess internal control effectiveness and make necessary improvements.
- Audit and Taxation:
+ Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process.
+ Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax planning strategies.
- Financial Systems and Technology:
+ Evaluate and implement financial systems and software to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
+ Stay updated with the latest accounting and financial software advancements.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by upper management.
