Chief Accountant

1. SET UP ACCOUNTING SYSTEM
• Set up new ERP system. (Microsoft dynamic NAV)
• Set up accounting process to conduct internal controls, mitigate risk.
• Create and maintain accounting system, bookkeepers and data
• Handle Transfer Pricing document
• Records all of the accounting transactions to NAV software.
• Follow up the fixed assets.
• Monitor and review company cost accounting system
2. TAX DECLARATIONS & PAYMENTS
• Manage the tax declarations in accordance to Vietnam regulation; ensure compliance with all statutory requirements in Vietnam with respect to taxation.
• Ensure monthly/quarterly/yearly tax submission on time.
• Coordinate and manage Vietnamese taxes not only to minimize tax liabilities but also remain in full compliance with all laws, regulations in Vietnam and tax group policy.
• Prepare the VAT return.
• Dealing with matters relating to the Tax department
3. PAYMENTS
• Control all daily payment process to ensure effectively and timely
• Coordinate with banks for payment/transfer arrangement.
• Process payment for foreign & domestic suppliers
• Periodic reconciliation of AP/AR with suppliers/customers
• Follow up the petty cash book
4. REPORTING
• Monthly closing, review all accounts of SOFP and SPL to make sure the accuracy and completeness of accounts reflect the true and fair of FSs. Ensure monthly financial statements are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensuring VAS report is in line with the updated tax regulations.
• Compile internal management reporting; analyze of monthly financial results
• Costing report & Inventory movement report
• Submit necessary accounting report to authorities
• Follow & submit Purchasing list & Invoice list
5. PLANNING
• Manage cash flow, prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly cash planning and loan agreement
• Assist BOM in preparing budget and forecast
6. DOCUMENTATION
• Responsible for the maintenance and safekeeping of accounting documents
• Ensure orderly storage of accounting documents
7. EXTERNAL
• Assist internal and external auditors in auditing process
• Work with tax authority for tax audit/ tax inspection
• Control loans from parent company on payment interest, report to the State Bank of Vietnam, procedure for repayment
8. The Head of Accounting is authorized to to work on behalf of the company to work directly with tax authorities, concerned agencies, banks, auditing companies and partners to implement all attendant actions necessary for the attainment of the abovementioned duties and responsibilities
