The Canadian International School System - Vietnam (CISS-VN) operates three programs in Ho Chi Minh City, consisting of CIS, BCIS, AES, and CVK. The Canadian International School (CIS) serves Kindergarten - Grade 12 students where the Ontario curriculum is taught. The IB Diploma Program is also offered to students in Grades 11 & 12.
The Canadian International School (CIS) is looking for potential candidates for the position of Library Assistant with the following details:
Organize and help manage the Library
Assist check-in/out of library materials and check for damages when returned
Retrieve overdue books or generate library fines for lost/heavily damaged books
Shelve materials and equipment
Encode books in the library system (Follett)
Process newly arrived books: stamps, barcodes, etc...
Regularly check damaged books for repair.
Library Inventory
Assist patrons process ( add/update/ delete patron information, finding book)
Decorate monthly themes
Implement library rules: General library rules, borrowing rules, room booking rules.
Assist in library reports and documentation
Mediator in communication with other departments
Perform other duties as assigned

Yêu cầu

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Bachelor's degree or higher education.
At least 1 years of experience in a similar position.
Have a can-do mindset.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
Familiar with office computers skills;
Ability to organize work independently as well as a team player , ability to observe and handle problems quickly and effectively.
Careful, meticulous, confident and a good organizer.
