Mô tả công việc

• Review incoming RFQs for CNC machining projects, including detailed drawings, specifications, and other requirements that are mentioned in the RFQ template.
• Analyze project requirements, including materials, machining processes, tolerances, and finishing specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to identify key features, dimensions, and manufacturing requirements.
• Estimate manufacturing costs based on, machining time, tooling requirements, and other factors by using cost estimation tools and CAD/CAM (Mastercam).
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to gather relevant information and ensure accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare RFQ estimate sheet (Therm-X Template), by adhering to the guidelines for Therm-X Fabrication Machining capabilities and Equipment's and Therm-X profitability targets.
• Maintain records of RFQs, quotations, and related correspondence in the quotation management system in Fabrication department in Therm-x.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on estimating processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains, and implementing best practices.

Yêu cầu

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in CNC machining operations, including milling, turning, and multi-axis machining.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling selection, and machining parameters.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills for cost estimation and pricing analysis.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally
• Experience with ERP systems, quotation management software).
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in estimating and quoting processes.
• Knowledge of manufacturing standards, quality requirements, and ability of using CAD/CAM (Mastercam) for Machining Cycle Time & Machining Approach in RFQs.
