Job Summary
- As a CNC & New Product Implementation (NPI) Engineer at Tuuci Asia, you sit at the intersection of precision machining and product innovation - a dual-function role built for an engineer who is equally comfortable on the CNC floor and in a product launch cycle.
- On the CNC side, you program, set up, and operate CNC machines with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- On the NPI side, you serve as the engineering bridge between Tuuci's international Design / R&D teams and the Asia-Pacific factory - owning the full journey from first prototype to stable mass production.
- You will also drive continuous improvement across existing production lines: refining processes, upgrading fixtures, and upholding the quality-first manufacturing standards Tuuci is known for.
Key Responsibilities
CNC Engineering
• Program and set up 3-axis CNC machines (milling, lathe) for aluminum, stainless steel, plastic, and other materials
• Write, validate, and optimize CNC programs (G-code) to improve cycle time, precision, and surface finish
• Design fixtures and work-holding solutions for efficient, repeatable machining
• Select and manage cutting tools, tooling parameters, and consumables
• Maintain all CNC programs and technical data aligned with latest approved revisions
• Troubleshoot machine issues as they arise
New Product Implementation (NPI)
• Act as the primary engineering interface between Design / R&D and the factory - reviewing drawings, 3D CAD models, and BOMs for all new Furniture SKUs
• Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) assessments; provide provide formal, actionable feedback to Design teams prior to production
• Analyze fixture requirements across all manufacturing stages. Design and fabricate accordingly.
• Lead prototype and pilot builds - machining first-off parts, coordinating assembly trials, and managing engineering change iterations
• Define and maintain SOPs and work instructions for all Furniture line processes
• Support in-house projects and other duties.
Yêu cầu
Technical

• Solid knowledge of jig, fixture, and work-holding design for CNC, assembly, and welding applications
• Familiarity with GD&T standards
• Understanding of cutting tool technology and machining parameters across various materials
Soft Skills
• Able to multitask and context-switch between CNC engineering and NPI responsibilities
• Proactive problem-solver - anticipates issues and drives resolution independently
