Job Description:
Lead CNC team to develop, test, and optimize 5-axis CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Hypermill) and G-code to meet precise engineering specifications.
Configure 3 - 5 axis CNC milling machines, including selecting and installing tools, fixtures, and workpieces, ensuring proper alignment and calibration for complex geometries.
Operate 3 - 5 axis CNC mills to produce intricate parts with tight tolerances, monitoring performance to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Inspect machined components using precision measuring tools (e.g., CMM, micrometers, calipers) to verify compliance with technical drawings and GD&T standards.
Analyze and refine 3 - 5 axis machining processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize material waste while maintaining quality.
Choose appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and materials (e.g., aluminum, steel) to achieve optimal machining results for complex parts.
Maintain detailed records of programs, setups, tool paths, and inspection results for traceability and process improvement.
Stay updated on advancements in 3 - 5 axis milling technology and propose innovative solutions to enhance production capabilities.
