Coffee Sustainability Specialist - Lâm Đồng

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Coffee Sustainability Specialist to work in a truly global environment. The role provides long term potential for someone eager to demonstrate their skills and experience in a challenging and fast paced soft commodities environment.
You will join a world leading trader of agricultural commodities within a wholly owned subsidiary of our Coffee Trading Division - VOLCAFE. VOLCAFE Ltd. is one of the world's leading international green coffee trading companies with its head office in Winterthur, Switzerland, operating in over 20 countries globally, in coffee procurement, sustainability, blending and export as well as importing and distribution, and it supplies the world's major coffee roasters and retail distributors with their green coffee requirements, with significant strategic growth ambitions for the future.
Volcafe has built and operated certified, sustainable supply chains across all our origins, addressing key economic, social and environmental issues in coffee farming communities. Since 2014 Volcafe has been providing direct technical assistance to farmers, helping them to improve their coffee quality, farm productivity and yields via our Volcafe Way Farmer Support Organizations (FSOs).
The Coffee Sustainability Specialist will partner with the Certification Lead in developing and maintaining Volcafe Certification system to enhance its qualified certificates and business. Our certificates are including coffee sustainability certificates such as UTZ/4C/RFA/FT/FC/CP/ Volcafe Verified
Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
• In close collaboration with Certification Lead and the leadership team, ensure alignment with all relevant requirements of certification.
• Drive certification process focus on standards' updates required
• Ensure the annual certification work plan of sustainable coffee projects followed Volcafe Vietnam business plan.
• Improve and develop the efficiency, accuracy, and profitability of certification in align with business plan
• Deliver relevant internal planning and reporting requirements
• Ensure the suppliers to observe the standard/ code of conduct applied for each certification
• Administer and review all financial plans and budgets for certification, monitor progress and changes.
