Commercial Controller - Finance

JOB PURPOSE

- Ensure that the Sale & Marketing activities are properly monitored: report them with due respect to the company reporting guidelines and provide all performance dashboards needed by management.

- Support Commercial managers to increase profitability by providing them with their Sale & Cost performance analysis and indicating levers of improvement.



DUTIES

Monthly Reporting

- Prepare monthly sale reports to analyze sale growth, gross margin, customer margin.

- Provide value comments on the sale report from the analysis about the trend as well as the key movement to the management team.

- Follow expense of commercial & marketing in detail & prepare the expense month report to interpret the variance between actual & budget, actual vs last month & last year.

- Prepare the monthly forecast and best estimate of sale & margin and sale expenses follow the company schedule.

- Support commercial & marketing team in some special activities (Calculate the PL of marketing program...)

- Provide all information of sale & expense requested.

- Working with the accounting team to ensure the data in the Accounting system is linked to sale & marketing data.

- Analyzing the sale growth & expense impact to PL.

- Collaboration with Sales Directors to improve the margin per ton (monthly meeting with APAC to update the Pricing project)

- Join the project to provide sale & margin data analysis (like pricing) as requested.

- Others task requests from managers.

Budget

- Prepare the yearly budget for sale (volume, turnover, margin per product & region)

- Prepare a yearly budget for the expense of sales & marketing in detail.

- Ensure all the budget data is ready on time.



AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- To be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

- To be responsible for ensuring that all accounting allocations are appropriately made and documented

- Get support from another department to retrieve data needed for the reportings.
